COACH TSEGI
CONTORTION COACH AT K-STAR 

Coach Tsegi, is a remarkable contortionist born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, who began practicing the art of contortion at the age of 7. Coming from a family with a circus background, her father, Tsendtogooch, was an animal trainer for the Mongolian State Circus. Tsegi's talent and dedication led her to start her professional career at the age of 10, and by the time she was 14, she had already received her first professional award.

Tsegi has achieved international acclaim for her contortion performances on various stages around the world. Notably, she has performed in prestigious venues such as Cirque D'hiver in Paris, Sea World in Orlando, and the Wuqiao International Acrobatic Festival in China, among others.

Her career highlights include receiving the Medal of Honored Artist from the Government of Mongolia in 2014, which is Mongolia's premier cultural award. Additionally, she has been recognized with several international awards, including the 'Excellent Act' trophy at Sweden's International Women's Circus Festival in 1999 and the Silver Lion Award at China's Wuqiao International Acrobatic Festival in 1997.

Aside from her performances, Tsegi has also been active as a contortion coach, sharing her expertise with students at various circus schools, studios, and workshops in the United States and abroad since 2012 and appearing as a judge in numerous Circus Festivals in Mongolia.

Her extensive resume showcases her versatility and dedication to the art of contortion, spanning solo acts, duos, trios, and quartets, performed in diverse settings ranging from corporate events and TV shows to charity events and international festivals celebrating Mongolian culture.
